I got up at 2am but then went back to sleep, then I got up at 4, lied on the lounge and went back to sleep, then I got up at 6, had a coffee, did some meditation, and here I am, cold feet but a warm heart.

Running Ads, but No luck yet!

I advertised some of my books on Facebook this week; I'm doing little tests to see what works. My budget was $100, but after getting to $45 without selling a single book, I pulled the pin on I; I then boosted one of my articles but pulled the pin at five dollars, as it was a no-go.

My FB page was not allowed to run ads before now, which I assumed by their feedback was because people didn't interact with my page enough, but I added an address and linked my phone number to Facebook, and I was allowed to run ads.

I'll keep trying little experiments, I've got some cool projects coming out in the first half of this year, and I'll test the waters on them.

I'll do my little bets until one hits the spot, and I may sink extra dollars into it.

Subliminals are a thing...

I came across a subreddit called Subliminals; I got the idea it was about playing audio while sleeping, so you subconsciously take it in, like affirmations combined with hypnotism. With all its built-in affirmations, I thought my meditation app would be good for the basis for an app for such a thing.

Delving more into the subreddit, I realise it's a bunch of young people hoping for miracles to their problems rather than working on accepting or overcoming them; some want to wake up rich, others taller, some want their noses to be straight, and there's plenty of young fools on there spouting how its worked for them.

Pictures of their nose at two different angles fool themselves or others into thinking their nose are a better shape now.

I went to YouTube to check out some of these subliminals and found that you can't even hear them; they are supposed to be spoken to you at lower than audible hearing; it's eight hours of music.

My apps have enough quackery built into them with my brain syncing sounds, which may or may not make a fuck of a difference, but some swear by them.

I made all the affirmations on my app realistic and attainable, not fluffy pie-in-the-sky stuff; most are just good, solid advice and ways of thinking that are beneficial without being delusional.

But anyway, at that age (most Redditors on r/subliminals), I was trying to move objects with my mind so they might get there eventually.
